NAVY SEAL GEAR DEMO

Special Report: NAVY SEAL DEMO inside the JFK Carrier during fleet week 2005 New York City. These are the SEALs just came back from Iraq. I believe they are from SEAL TEAM 3. Thank you for their service which has kept the world a better place for everyone. These are the true heroes who sacrifice their lives for the others. A model of our military men and women. Now, let's take the closest look at their coolest gear, and experience their incredible journey.

A little note about NYC Fleet Week: A great event highlights the pride, professionalism and spirit of our nation’s sea services. Over 3,500 Sailors and Marines, as well as ten Navy ships have participated. As with previous years, ships will be berthed at both Pier 88 in Manhattan and the Stapleton Pier at the Staten Island Homeport. While in New York City, Sailors and Marines will be participating in Memorial Day parades in all five boroughs, volunteering with local community outreach organizations, and enjoying the sites, sounds, and hospitality of New York City. The public is invited to tour some of the ships, as well as view military demonstrations and crew competitions. The event is awesome!

Location

The Navy SEAL gear demonstration is held inside the USS JFK CV-67 carrier parked right next to the NY Intrepid museum (top left picture).

Body Armor

MAR-CIRAS Body Armor vest (Maritime Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System) is the choice of the Navy SEAL. The armor has quick release system to prevent drowning during crash accidents. The armor vest is MOLLE computable. Tons of mission specific pockets and pouches is available. The one we seen in the demo is Khaki color.

MICH Helmet

Best of the best. The MSA Gallet MICH 2000 helmet. It is the choice of all US special forces. The SEAL MICH helmet has upgraded with Velcro, IFF tape, Triangle NV mount, and counter weight for NV goggles.

WEB BELT

This is the gear belt of a Navy SEAL. It is set up with various pouches from various companies. From right to left: M4 drop leg pouch, LPU, First Aid pouch, pistol retention lanyard, M4 size utility pouch, water bottle pouch, LPU, Drop leg P226 holster.

CQB M4 Rifle

Navy SEAL CQB M4 carbine. Specially designed for CQB. Very short barrel (10.5"). Equipped with single point sling, fore-grip, LMT rear sight, Aimpoint scope, PEQ-2A laser. Very cool !!

Navy SEAL M4

Navy SEAL 14.5" barrel M4. Visitors love this gun so much, I can't even get a still picture.

Made by COLT. Equipped with rear sling mount plate, Crane rear stock with battery compartment, Trijicon TA01 NSN scope, PEQ-2A laser, and CVL laser.

Combat Pistol

Pistol of the Navy SEAL. Sig Arms pistol, and HK Mk23 pistol with KAC silencer. Nice !

Navy SEAL Sniper Rifles and Scopes

Various Navy SEAL sniper rifles. Sorry folks, too many people, I was unable to take more photos. These guns are equipped with powerful long range scopes and NV goggles. Awesome !

I want a Navy SEAL poster !!!

Lastly, in order to get the coolest NAVY SEAL Poster, I had to do 50 push ups!!

However, don't know what happened....the counting is always 45 somehow....

Luckily............I had my Navy SEAL Poster finally.
