4, 2001: Navy Demonstration: The
4th of July Naval Special Warfare Capabilities Demonstration took
place in San Diego, California. It is a large scale demonstration of the Navy
Special Warfare (NSW) groups. Same as last year, you saw the amazing
capabilities of the modern Navy! Modern navy carrier, attack helicopters (e.g.
Night stalker units), assault boats, SEAL teams, combat divers, HALO
operations and big explosions! Yes, this is our US Navy of the 22
century!
This time, we are going to see the modern Navy SEAL combat Divers! These are the elite forces of the US Navy.

Navy SEAL Combat Divers Fast, silent, and deadly! SEALs are, first and foremost, warriors who come from the sea and return to its silent darkness when their mission is accomplished. It is their unique ability to operate in water that sets Navy SEALs apart from all other elite forces. These fighting frogman are ready for any "crisis-action" situations.

Closer-look at the warriors Navy SEAL combat divers are equipped with advanced diving gears and weapons. Their LAR-V rebreather allow the diver to rebreathe his expended air and not release air bobbles to the surface that may alert the enemy. Their knife, pistol and MP5 submachine guns will definitely give a good lesson to the enemies !
