TP-1E body armor was manufactured by Armour of America in the late 1980s to 1990s. It is one of the iconic body armors worn by the U.S. Navy SEALs in the late 1980s to mid-1990s and served in Desert Storm. The armor has an unique shape and provides ballistic protection from neck to coccyx. It also features front and back pockets for curved hard armor plates of different protection levels. The armor was often spotted at VBSS operations and CQB training.
